If you had 2 disks available in TOS, it's impossible you've created a RAID5 array, because that needs a minimum of 3 disks.
You're aware you need to 'initialize' the disks (Format them in another device) if you install TOS?

It can't change your RAID array, it removed your RAID array and created a TRAID which is the behaviour on default install.
