Is there a guide on how to convert the official updates from Plex for TOS5? I'm asking because I don't want to rely on outkastm to do terramaster's job and want to update faster myself

I have noticed a small deviation from the operation of the previous "official" versions (both 1.28.2.1651 and the .1.6104 that you propose): When a new library is created, the addresses of all the directories do not appear. Basically, you have to write it by hand.
In my case, the PLEX app resides on Volume1 and the data in folders on USBSHARE1. To add a new library, since I can't find the folders in the list proposed by the app, I have to fill in that field manually.
Not a big problem, of course. I'm on TOS 5.0.156 and given the USB assignment and permission problems with usbsharexx I'm not going to update TOS until those problems are resolved since I've achieved a stable system

I don't experience such issues. The usbshare1 can be found in /Volume1/@usb which is well visible by Plex. ( "/Volume1" is the default Plex browser root folder )
