You are the one who exposes your device to the internet but doesn't want to do anything.

@TMroy
I agree that if someone doesn't alter their device settings they shouldn't be surprised they were hacked, however there's no need to be so blunt, almost accusatory. Customising technical aspects of TOS is not well documented for home users.

I apologize if my formulation is inappropriate. We will refine the operational details of the countermeasures against ransomware. Thanks for your advice!

@TMroy are you kidding me WHAT a thing to say to a user that has done everything a user can do apart from not connect your device to my router.
My port isnt 8181
i have ddos protection on
i also have automatic IP block on and set very low only 4 attempts it then locks the ip out
i have antivirus on the device not that it done any good
my password are very strong
I am also wondering if this is part of the security flaw that was supposed to be fixed a few months ago i guess you need a fix for the fix.

BTW, you tell people to disable SSH when not in use, and to remove the default admin account (which you can't) but that doesn't work as /etc/ssh/sshd_config has explicitly been set to "AllowUsers admin" so only the admin user can login, if you edit the file when you re-enable SSH via TOS it resets it
