F2-210 is a 1G model, just simply copy the file to USB.

Hi I have followed the instruction as posted and left the USB for couple hours but TNAS did not power off itself. I have also tried another USB slot, same thing. Please advise what else I need to do? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks.

Best regards,
Ben

Hi,
Is the green indicator light on the network cable interface on the back of your device on?
Will the hard disk light be on when no hard disk is installed now? Can TNAS PC find the device?

Hi,
Now your question is that you can’t log in when you plug in the hard disk and boot up?
After inserting the hard disk and booting up, can you see the device through the TNAS PC and log in successfully?

Oh after re-installing the OS, I lost all my files! All the user accounts are gone. Do you know where I can retrieve my users files?

You can refer to this link: viewtopic.php?f=75&t=1365
You can go to the control panel to edit file permissions.
Reinstalling the system requires re-creating users.
