I'm having this same issue. I updated my Drives and the LAN light no longer comes on and it just beeps repeatedly about every 20 seconds. When i replaced the old drives, it continued this behavior and will not load into the TNAS PC application. Tried all the steps about6 pulling the drives, powering on, and waiting for the LAN light to come on, but Nothing happens.
I have :
1. Turn off your TNAS device;
2. Remove all hard drives;
3. Turn on your TNAS;
It just beeps every 10-20 seconds and LAN light will not come on.
After observing it for a bit, it seems to be hung in a reboot loop. How do i stop it?

This may be because the boot system in the small U disk inserted on the motherboard is broken.
