Just to add a technical note: the issue is reproducible immediately when clicking “Send test email,” and it started only after upgrading from TOS 6 to TOS 7. On TOS 6 the same configuration was working correctly. The error is visible in the screenshot attached to my first post.
Since DNS resolution and Internet connectivity on TOS are both working, I suspect the problem may be related to the SMTP test path or to the local mail service initialization after the upgrade.
Also, the examples about Gmail, “mail from machines,” and even the anecdote about a recipient mailbox being full may be interesting in general, but they do not seem relevant to my case.

Please let me know if there are any additional logs, diagnostic files, or specific checks you would like me to provide.

This morning your support team fixed the issue with my NAS. The problem was the libsignnas.so file, which had not been updated during the upgrade to TOS 7. The correct version was copied, and now the local SMTP is working again.

This fix will be implemented in a future release of TOS7.
