D5 sleeps on reboot.

D5 sleeps on reboot.
I have a D5 connected to an Intel NUC with a thunderbolt 3 port. I'm running ubuntu 20.10. Whenever I reboot the D5 goes into sleep mode (led lights red) and stays there. I then have to power it on and off, sometimes multiple times, to have the NUC recognize the drives. Once recognized it works well with ZFS. It's rather inconvenient to have to be physically present at the NUC every time it reboots. I have another D5 attached to another NUC that works fine. Any ideas?
Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
What kind of drive you installed in your D5? is it D5-300 or D5-300C?
Some drives may not be waked up properly.

Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
There is no indication on the enclosure itself other than D5, my receipt indicates a D5-330.
The drives are Seagate Exos - 16T.

Hi,
It may be a problem with the Intel NUC or D5-330 driver.
1. Try to download the corresponding chipset driver/Thunderbolt 3 driver from the official Intel NUC and try to install it.
2. Try to download the RAID driver update corresponding to D5-330 from TerraMaster official website.

Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
Drivers are only available for MAC OS and Windows
Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
Hi,
Have you tried to install the ubuntu 20.10 driver related to Intel NUC?
Does Intel NUC hardware have ubuntu 20.10 driver? Is it normal after installation?
We do not have the corresponding driver, you can try to change some USB device configuration on your computer.

Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
I'm not aware of any special Intel drivers for Ubuntu. Ubuntu works fine on a NUC. I have seen no errors. In fact, I don't believe I've seen any errors in dmesg.
Re: D5 sleeps on reboot.
I guess this may be something that needs to be set somewhere in the system.
