TOS 7.0.1422 (x86) Official Release Update

Found an error but it also happened with at least the last update before 1422, internet will become yellow (ie no internet access) but ok with network, ie my pc can log into the F4-424, I need to reboot the F4-424 to get internet back but it will become yellow again after i did some new videos with jellyfin/emby, I need to reboot it again. Someone told me to disable ipv6 on the network and set a fixed ip adress for the F4-424 on my router. I just did it and will report if the error happen again.

It looks like F4-424 is a nightmare...
Fortunatly Terramaster change mine by a brand new F4-425 Plus, no issue again now.

Did you have the same problem with F4-424? Interesting should not be hardware problem since F4-424 and F4-425 Plus about the same hardware and same TOS 7, the only difference between the two NAS will only be BIOS.

The support team made me some custom ones but unfortunatly the issue came over and over... Si it has been decided to replace it by a brand new F4-425 Plus with N95 and now i didnt have this kind of unaccessible NAS.

Thanks, I don't have your issue, i can log into my f4-424, only the internet is not working and I can reboot it via website (no need hard reset), maybe because i only use it as a Plex/Jellyfin server and only Tailscale and Docker are installed.

I had the possibility to update TOS today to v1422.
Everything is up and running well !

One think but not sure if the new release. Qbittorent app. Maximum speed is 100mbit/s. I have a 2,5Gbit Ethernet connection (direct to the router) and WD red PLUS. Strange!

Please note that qBittorrent displays transfer speeds in MiB/s by default, rather than Mbit/s (1 Byte = 8 bits):

1. Are you seeing ~100 MiB/s or ~11–12 MiB/s?

• If qBittorrent shows ~100 MiB/s:
  100 MiB/s actually equals ~838 Mbit/s. For a single mechanical WD Red Plus drive handling concurrent multi-connection torrent chunks, 100 MiB/s is already very close to its real-world sustained write limit.

• If it is capped at ~11–12 MiB/s (100 Mbit/s):
  This indicates an actual 100 Mbps bottleneck. Please check the following:

2. Troubleshooting a 100 Mbps cap

• Check Negotiated Port Speed:

Go to TOS > Control Panel > Network > Network Interface. Even on a 2.5GbE network, a bent or faulty pin in the Ethernet cable can cause the port to auto-negotiate down to 100 Mbps instead of 1000M or 2500M.

• Check qBittorrent Rate Limits:

In qBittorrent, check Tools > Options > Speed to ensure global limits are disabled (0), and verify the Alternative Rate Limit is not active.
