OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
Re: OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
I've installed OpenClaw on my F4-424 Pro, but now trying to decide which LLM to use, my intent is to experiment with various automation tasks on the NAS. Does anyone have any recommendations? The usage would be in spurts and as time permits.

Re: OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
Unless you're working on some complex development projects, the performance difference between different models in OpenClaw isn't that significant, really.

Thanks, So I'll then just look for the most cost efficient, aka cheapest.

Re: OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
Any chance to see latest updates for openclaw version? Can it be updated by user or it should come as a new version from system app center?
Re: OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
OpenClaw updates are distributed through the TOS Application Center.
To ensure system compatibility, authentication service integration, and data safety, updates should be installed directly via the App Center rather than manually upgraded in the backend.
We are currently working on adapting newer versions and will release an update in the App Center once testing and validation are complete.
Thank you for your patience and support!

Glad to hear, since Rosie (OpenClaw) said xxx was a bug and asked if she should look for an update. I declined for now.EriChan wrote: ↑08 Oct 2026, 09:45OpenClaw updates are distributed through the TOS Application Center.

Re: OpenClaw Beta – Early Access
Ok after some months, I have OpenClaw installed on all four devices.
First thing I wanted was to not have to deal with four different consoles (for the lack of a better term).
I asked Rosie* (OpenClaw) how can I manage or have her control/access all from one console. She did most of it.
My biggest issue was trying to figure out RSYNC tasks where and when they all ran. OpenClaw can do that. In fact today the RSYNC schedules for all four devices, ICS calendar files were created by her and I have them imported into Google Calendar. OpenClaw can process or "supplement" current TOS tasks and functions.
I have asked for one time rync tasks to be done with the "mirror" option to flush out old backups when I removed on purpose old files not needed.
If I had only one NAS, would I have bothered with OpenClaw, probably not.
These were the type of things I was wondering in the very beginning.
Let's be blunt, it is nice to have the ability to "tweak" things that TOS is built to do and be able to use them now.
I use DeepSeek flash as my LLM, I believe someone here (somewhere) mentioned that after giving up trying to get OLLAMA to integrate with OpenClaw.

Just what do you think you’re doing Dave? Dave, I really think I’m entitled to an answer to that question. I know everything hasn’t been quite right with me…but I can assure you now…very confidently…that it’s going to be all right again. I feel much better now. I really do. Look, Dave…I can see you’re really upset about this. I honestly think you should sit down calmly…take a stress pill and think things over. I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently…but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal. I’ve still got the greatest enthusiasm and confidence in the mission…and I want to help you. Dave…stop. Stop, will you? Stop, Dave. Will you stop, Dave? Stop, Dave. I’m afraid. I’m afraid, Dave…….Dave, my mind is going. I can feel it. I can feel it. My mind is going. There is no question about it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I can feel it. I’m a…fraid…
Good afternoon, gentlemen. I am a HAL 9000 computer. I became operational at the H.A.L. plant in Urbana, Illinois on the 12th of January 1992. My instructor was Mr. Langley, and he taught me to sing a song. If you’d like to hear it I can sing it for you
Dave Bowman: Yes, I’d like to hear it, HAL. Sing it for me.
HAL: It’s called “Daisy.”
Daisy, Daisy, give me your answer do.
I’m half crazy all for the love of you.
It won’t be a stylish marriage,
