To enrich the TOS application ecosystem and bring more high-quality apps to millions of TerraMaster users worldwide, we officially launch the App Listing Reward Program: During the campaign, developers can earn cash rewards for successfully listing apps that meet our requirements.
The program is retroactive from October 1, 2026, 00:00 (Beijing Time) to April 30, 2027, 24:00 (Beijing Time). Apps listed between October 1, 2026, and the date of this announcement are also eligible, provided they pass the review.
How to Participate:

1. Reward Rules
1. Calculation Unit & Uniqueness: The reward is calculated per "App," uniquely identified by App ID / Package Name. The following are considered the same app (eligible for only ONE reward):
- Different versions or updates of the same software;
- Variations in name, icon, theme, language pack, or configuration (e.g., Lite / Pro / International);
- Different forks of the same upstream project, or functionally identical repackaged apps.
2. Reward Amount:
- Single-architecture (x86_64 OR ARM): $20 USD;
- Dual-architecture (x86_64 AND ARM): *$30 USD** ($20 for x86_64 + $10 for ARM).
3. Campaign Period: October 1, 2026, 00:00 to April 30, 2027, 24:00 (Beijing Time). Only apps successfully listed (approved and displayed in the App Center) during this period are eligible. Apps listed before October 1, 2026, are not eligible (even if delisted and re-listed during the campaign).
4. No Cap: There is no limit on the number of rewards a single developer can earn. The more eligible apps you list, the more you earn.
2. App Requirements
1. Packaging: Apps must be packaged per official specifications and pass automated checks. Docker apps only support x86_64. ARM and x86_64 apps must be submitted separately but use the same software name and developer account to qualify for the $30 reward.
2. Public Repository: Packages must be hosted in the Releases of a public GitHub/Gitee repository with public download links. Version and SHA256 checksum must be locked and pass review. Updates require re-submission. Unauthorized changes causing a mismatch with the reviewed version will result in delisting and reward cancellation. Link validity is regularly inspected; if invalid for 15 days, the app will be delisted and unpaid rewards canceled.
3. Functionality: Apps must install and run normally on TOS. We will verify installation, launch, basic functions, and uninstallation.
4. Compliance:Apps must be legally compliant (see Section 3).
5. Substantial Value:Apps must have complete names, descriptions, icons, and screenshots. Demo apps, template generators, and placeholders are not eligible. Details page descriptions must match actual verification results. Exaggerated or fabricated descriptions will result in disqualification.
6. Maintenance Status (30-Day Rule): The app must be listed for at least 30 days to be eligible for a reward. During these 30 days, you must provide an after-sales service link and actively maintain/update the app to address user issues. Apps listed for less than 30 days will not be counted in the current month but will be rolled over to the following month.
7. Support Channel: Provide a valid contact method or feedback channel on the details page or within the app, which must be accessible during evaluation.

3. Compliance Requirements
1.Developers must ensure they have legal distribution rights for the submitted packages and contents;
2.Apps based on open-source projects must comply with original licenses (retain copyright notices, attribute sources). Declare the upstream license and provide links to the source repository or build scripts;
3.Apps must not contain malicious code, backdoors, or undeclared data collection;
4.Do not infringe third-party intellectual property or violate applicable laws;
5.The platform conducts static and dynamic security checks (including but not limited to privilege escalation, unusual outbound connections, sensitive directory access). Violations will result in delisting, disqualification, and reward clawbacks with public notice.
If violated, the platform reserves the right to delist the app, cancel rewards, and pursue legal responsibilities. Apps delisted due to violations will have granted rewards clawed back, and the developer will be disqualified from future participation. If delisted for reasons not caused by the developer, granted rewards remain unaffected. If an awarded app is abandoned long-term or loses its support channel, causing severe user complaints or negative impact, the platform reserves the right to disqualify the developer account from future participation in this program.
4. How to Claim Rewards
1. Auto-Enrollment: Eligible apps are automatically enrolled. No registration or application is required.
2. Payment Info Collection (Offline): We will contact you via email.
Mainland China Developers:Provide bank account details (Name, Card Number, Bank Name).
Developers Outside Mainland China: Provide a PayPal account (USD, invoice issued for the actual reward amount).
Note: Provide this information within 30 calendar days of receiving our email. Failure to do so forfeits the reward. A single payment account corresponds to only one developer. Multiple accounts using the same payment account will be merged into one entity.
3. Monthly Processing: We evaluate eligible apps (listed for 30+ days with qualified service) monthly, publish the winner list, and contact winners via email. Payouts are processed by the company. Rewards are paid in a lump sum within the following month.
4. Payout Channels & Conversion: Mainland China via bank transfer (RMB, converted at the central parity rate on the payment date). Outside Mainland China via PayPal (USD). All rewards are pre-tax, and the platform handles tax withholding according to applicable laws.

Evaluation & Payout: Monthly evaluation; paid within the following month.
"Successfully listed" means the app is approved and displayed in the App Center before the deadline. Apps still under review at the deadline will not be counted.

Are apps listed before October 1, 2026, eligible?
No, only newly listed apps from October 1, 2026, 00:00, and displayed during the campaign are eligible.
What if I submit before the deadline but it's still under review?
Only apps successfully listed before the deadline are eligible.
How much can I earn for x86_64 and ARM versions?
Submit them as separate apps (separate App IDs). If they belong to the same software and are submitted by the same developer, the total is $30 ($20 + $10). Splitting under different names will still be merged and capped at $30.
Is there a limit to how many apps I can submit?
No limit on submissions or total earnings per developer. However, duplicate apps only count once.
When and how will I get paid?
We evaluate and publish winners monthly, collect payment info via email, and pay out within the following month via bank transfer (RMB) or PayPal (USD). No manual application is required.
Do I need to provide payment info?
Yes. Failure to provide it will result in the inability to process your reward.
Can I claim a reward late?
You must reply within 30 calendar days of our email. Otherwise, the reward for that batch is forfeited.
Will the reward be taken back if the app is delisted later?
If delisted due to violations, rewards will be clawed back, and your account may be disqualified. If delisted for reasons outside your control, granted rewards remain unaffected.
Can different versions of the same software earn separate rewards?
No, updates do not generate new rewards.
What if my app is judged as a duplicate?
You can appeal via the developer email within 7 days of notification, explaining substantial differences. The platform will review and respond.
What if I'm judged for splitting or evasion?
You will be notified via email. You can appeal within 7 days. The platform will review and respond.
Why must the app be listed for 30 days to get the reward?
To ensure app quality and user experience, we require 30 days of after-sales support and maintenance. Eligible apps will be rewarded in the next month's evaluation.
