TOS 4.2.06 is released for update!
Re: TOS 4.2.06 is released for update!
I did all these tests but none of them worked. The hardware and power section is not accessible. Are you sure it works for you with the new update?

slightly confused by the screen shot you have provided it does indeed look like you are viewing half and half which would suggest your cache is holding onto old graphics therefore old links etc (unless theres an issue with regional settings)
if you notice here 4.2.06 gives colourful images and when i click on the hardware i get this

the problem actually lies with the Italian language. By putting the web interface in English also the submenus finally appear. So it is a bug. Thanks anyway for the tip, at least so I can set the disk shutdown

There seems to be mixed reviews on whether Plex works after update. Is there anyone else who has experience with Plex after the update? I'm very reluctant to upgrade and have to rebuild my library. 4.1.30 has been working flawlessly and this just seems to be another beta release but without the 'beta' attached.

No issues here with Plex on 4.2.06. Updated a couple days ago and everything with Plex is working as expected.rightLANE wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 02:56 There seems to be mixed reviews on whether Plex works after update. I was extremely apprehensive, but bit the bullet because apps like Duple Backup require the upgrade. Upgrade was smooth, and the only issue I had with Plex was that the icon wasn't on the desktop. Click "Send to Desktop" and everything was in working order. I posted with my full experience if you care to bore yourself with a bit more detail

Re: TOS 4.2.06 is released for update!
i dont know what to say with mine, following the update i had real problems with getting plex to run and was losing confidence in the system to even work, but as it forced me to want to re-initalise my hard drive the day after and start again (i'm aware i could have had TM support login and probably bypass the need for it to be re-initialised) but i took the opportunity to start again (it still retained all the settings just no data, apps and no settings for the apps either) touch wood mine seems to be working fine againrightLANE wrote: ↑14 Nov 2020, 02:56 There seems to be mixed reviews on whether Plex works after update. so i guess the obvious thing would be to make sure your entire nas drive is backed up so that if you are forced to start again you havent lost any data
