[Help] Clearance for heat sink in TNAS F4-425 Plus  [SOLVED]

Post by AGiLiT »

I have just begun setting up my new TNAS F4-425 Plus. I have three Crucial P310 NVMe ssd drives installed in the m.2 slots. When I began to set up a storage pool with two of them, which I intend to configure as a Hyper Cache, I received the warning about using a heat sink on the ssd drives.

My question is: what is the maximum height of a heat sink that can be installed on the ssd drives that won't interfere with external shell when it is removed/replaced?

Thanks in advance.

The thickness of the heat sink should not exceed 3mm.
