ok I have tried resetting the configuration it restarted and got to the insulation page but it keeps telling me the password has illegal charters which is does not

I have also tried method 2 restarting with disks out I then get the page but it says no hard drives detected and to put them in doing so it says they will be deleted to make new pool so I stopped should I carry on ??

how can I get back into the op so I can get to my files again ?
I don't see any info in any of your posts to indicate the type/model of the nas device you are using, which TOS version was installed or what TOS version you are hoping to get back to? Please help yourself so others have a chance to help you.

sorry i have tos 5.1.103 installed

I am using a terramaster t6-423 9 bay

the problem I was having was it was not allowing to get into my files from my PC network then I would click on the tnas ocon which went into my folders I have never had to type a user or password before then it started asking me fo it and kept saying incorrect which I knew it was correct

so I went to control panel system reset configuration which I have done before
last time it just rebooted to the initialising page and just had to enter a super user
user name and a password then click next and be back into the operating system

this time upon rebooting I lost my internet and when it came back on it showed the page
I enter the super user user name
enter a password as before
email address
then bypass sending code and all I got was password contains illegal charters I have tried rebooting to get the same page it wont go past the page
I have tried different new passwords all with a capital letter and a number and over 8 charters even leaving it blank throws up the same error

i have i new F4-223, configured a week ago.
Today cannot access it, doesn't show up in TNAS PC and unreachable from browser.
If i remove disks I can access nas with putty in ssh with defaut credentials and it shows in TNAS PC
When i reconnect hard disk nas disapper (i can ping it from cmd) and doesn't show up in TNAS PC
Is there a way to fix this without losing my data?
harddisk were configured in RAID1 mode, they are new (1 week old)
In tos installation i have disabled SSH

Hello,
What version of the system did you install? Based on your description, it is speculated that the relevant process is not working. You can try to connect the NAS directly to the computer to see if your device can be found. If the result is the same, it is recommended that you back up your data and reinstall your system.

I've just had to reinstall TOS and previously I had a disk that has data on, and was in a storage pool of its own. Now after the reinstall I go to add the disk back into a storage pool it says it will wipe the data from it. Which is what I don't want to do. Can someone advise me how I can get this disk usable again?

Method B - Steps 1-4 completed. Now I have my device located on TNAS PC. Nothing happens when I click on 'Login'. I click on 'Add' and a window pops up. I click on 'Edit' and a window pops up. Click on 'Login' and nothing.

Can you try to press Ctrl + Shift + R on the keyboard (if you're using Chrome or similar), to clear the cache? Usually, this helps.

Try the 'Refresh' button in the TNAS-PC app as well.

I have tried this repeatedly, I have a F2-220 and I can get to the reinstall, I've downloaded the files and tried 4.2.44 and 5.0.176 but no matter what I do, it unzips the installer, then crashes at 55% with the error "Installing has TOS failed! Please restart TNAS and try again" I am downloading from this page https://support.terra-master.com/downlo ... uct=F2-220 and using the file labeled as "For new TNAS device TOS installation "

Anyone know how to fix?

Have you cleared your hdd of previous installation files? Do you have existing data on your system? Which version was installed previously?
