Unable to log-in to TNAS F8 Plus running TOS 6.0
Re: Unable to log-in to TNAS F8 Plus running TOS 6.0
Reinitializing the NAS did not erase my data. I have reinitialized it multiple times for fine-tuning, as my experience with it has not been very consistent. I’m afraid that some actions might not behave as expected. However, I really like the form factor of my F8 Plus, so I hope Terra Master will improve the GUI, which too often gives the impression that actions under the hood might not be consistent.

Excuse me, are you facing the same situation as the OP?juwfx1 wrote: ↑13 Feb 2025, 19:27 Reinitializing the NAS did not erase my data. Re: Unable to log-in to TNAS F8 Plus running TOS 6.0
I'm experiencing a strange issue with my NAS F6-424 Max. I can log in to the TNAS Mobile app without any problems, but when I try to log in to TOS via the web interface, it says "account error." After restarting the NAS, I can log in through the web, but then the mobile app stops working. Is it not possible to access both at the same time? Has anyone else faced this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Your post is not closely related to the main topic of the thread. If you haven't found a relevant topic, you can start one yourself.
Regarding your issue, we have not observed similar situations yet and will keep an eye on it. Please update to the latest TOS version if possible.
You may also check the process usage to see if there is excessive CPU or RAM consumption. Additionally, if possible generate and download the log report package in TOS > Technical Support > Report Issues, and then send it to support mailbox for inspection.

Good afternoon all,MacHack wrote: ↑21 Oct 2024, 17:42 Unable to log-in to TNAS F8 Plus running TOS 6.0 - Host computer Mac Studio M2 Ultra - macOS 14.7 Sonoma
The TNAS has been up and running for about 10 days, I am using it in Security Isolation mode (no internet access) each day transferring data to it, no problem. I login in/out as normal.
Today I find I’m unable to log-in via the browser (Safari) & also TNAS PC App..
Safari browser doesn’t load the log-in page - The TNAS PC app, despite showing the TNAS on the correctly assigned local LAN, will not accept the correct SuperUser name & password.
I can confirm the name and password - has NOT changed !!
Using the very same SuperUser Name/Password - I am able to access the TNAS via the Mac Finder window - The TNAS will mount shared folders etc and I have full access to upload/download my data..
However, the TOS not working correctly leaves me with no control over the TNAS - How do I get this OS running properly again?
Please advise.
Ive just invested in a new F8-plus and had a similar issue as Machost, unable to login, doesn't recognise any of my accounts via TNAS-PC for Mac or able to login via 192.168.xx.100:5443 or what ever it is called.
But Ican use the same passwords to access my shares and move the data for a reset....
Lets see what happens.
PS, the IP address of my M1 Max Studio has been blocked I guess as I've tried to login too many times unsuccessfully...
Rebooting it and see what happens, other wise I'l reinitialise.
If I have any further problems I'll send it back to Amazon....

Re: Unable to log-in to TNAS F8 Plus running TOS 6.0
Morning,
Not totally sure what that means or how to set that up, I am a tad new to NAS devices, and whilst a competent PC/Mac user I am not necessary a power user...
