Hello!
Thank you for contacting TerraMaster!

If you need to change the system installation disk after the system has been installed, you will need to reinstall the TOS system. During the reinstallation process, you will have the option of installing the system to a specific disk.

To ensure data security, before changing the system installation disk, we strongly recommend that you back up all important data to prevent data loss.

We hope you find this information helpful! If you encounter any problems during the process, we recommend contacting TerraMaster's Technical Support team for further assistance.

Thank you for responding!

But that's not really helpfull. Having to install TOS all over again. If TOS is installed on 2 different drives why can I just switch or remove 1 of them. Please add this as a feature.

I'm pretty sure it is not as simple as stated. Re-installation, of itself, is not an issue and is relatively quick in my experience. It is the configuration that is the issue. Re-installation basically wipes configuration which the user has to hope can be fully restored using the save config (prior) and restore config after. I'm not convinced @TM has that fully working as yet. And, add to that the situation of the default storage pool/Volume that goes with (re-)installation.
