I have two HDDs in RAID1. I somehow upgraded from TOS 4.x to 5.1.145 but the system size is still 2Gb from System Info. Now I want to upgrade to TOS 6, however, I don't want to backup data and then format my HDDs. How can I do that? Can I insert a new, empty Nvme SSD and choose to install TOS 6 on the SSD?
Hope to hear your thought and thank you.

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
I have similar setup on F4-424. I've setup 6.0.530 over existing 5.1.145 without any backup - works fine, no data lost. But you'll need to reconfigure everything after upgrade (permissions, applications, etc...).txhousa wrote: ↑30 Nov 2024, 13:21 I have two HDDs in RAID1. TOS6.0 can be installed on a new hard disk, but it is not recommended to insert another system with a 2GB partition into a device with a TOS6.0 system installed, as this may cause system confusion.

hi I don't use docker, native apps, Plex server and qbittorent you need to go to the Shared Files folder of your HDD and set permissions of the user Plex or Qbittorent to be able to access the folder. The already set SMB folders share were just fine as previously nothing lost or reset, so far happy with the new upgrade, everything is very snappy for my F2-422 (I have upgraded memory from 4gb to 12gb).

Did you install 6.0.530 on a new SSD? Did you remove 2 HDDs before installation or keep them with the new SSD during installation?vitali wrote: ↑30 Nov 2024, 16:27I have similar setup on F4-424. Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
System didn't ask me about destination. I believe you has options to choose only in case of "fresh" install, when there is no previous system on a board. As a one more option - you can update your system to 6.0.530 as is and then do a factory reset - in this case you should be able to choose the destination.
Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
My question is related to 2Gb system size. It's likely your old system is already 8Gb size, therefore, you did not have any problem in installation of TOS 6.vitali wrote: ↑02 Dec 2024, 15:23System didn't ask me about destination. Hi All! I've successfully updated f2-424 from 5.1.145 to this release via manual update. All went smoothly. After configuration, new version 6.0.535 arrived via automatic update. so far, so good

Re: TOS 6.0.530 Official Version Released
Has any one gotten Hyper Cache to work on 6.0.555?
I have a U4-423 here that the update seems to have gone fine on, but I keep getting an error of "there is not enough memory available to create the SSD cache" when I try to setup hyper cache again.
There was plenty of free system memory, but I put in 32GB and the error still occurs. I have wiped the disk in TOS to no avail and removed the SSD and low level formatted it on an other system with no change. I then tried a different SSD that was new out of the box and still got this error.
Is this broken in TOS 6?

We would like to know some information: What is the capacity of the volume and the cache disk you selected when creating the Hyper Cache?
Could you provide us with a screenshot?
How much available memory did you have when you created it?
