Hi Sorry to post again would really appreciate some help..
in short:
tried to fi a problem with plex by upgrading the TOS
Nas now has a non working TOS on it and shows as uninitalised.
all options fail trying to install new TOS (auto, chooseing various versions, using just one of the drives etc)
could somebody please help me to know if there is any other way I can access the drives, retrieve my data and just format them, plugging them into laptop with a HDD enclosure maybe? or putting a cheap 1tb in there, getting a TOS on it then putting it in with one of the messed up ones?
(its a 2 bay F2-420 with 2 X 4TB set-up RAID )
Thank you
Unuseable TOS = please help
Re: Unuseable TOS = please help
We suggest that you purchase a new NAS device, as your F2-420 model has been on the market for nearly 10 years and there may be equipment failure issues. The new device will provide better performance, security, and support.Nick10 wrote: ↑24 Nov 2024, 11:55 Hi Sorry to post again would really appreciate some help..
