Has anyone figured out how to monitor the Ironwolf drives in the D8? I specifically want to monitor SMART health from the Mac the D8 is connected to.
Disk Drill requires an third party driver to monitor external USB disks and they recommend not using it because the developer is not making updates.
DriveDx has a driver but I would rather not experiment on my machine.
Seagate Seatools no longer support Mac.

This is the third party driver several of the tools require to be installed:
