Re: The TOS 6 Beta Is Now Available for Public Testing
Hello... in introduce TOS6 says that linux kernel version 6.1, but at time version 5.15.59 and wireguard doesnt work...
But in catalog lib/modules has kernel modules 6.1.58 version (including wireguard modules for this version kernel).
How i can install kernel 6.1.58?

About Command_Timeout values in my case on TOS6.
Just get two new Seagate Exos X22, here is they SMART values on PC via CrystalDiskInfo:

SMART values on F4-424 Pro via short test:

Used them only in TOS6, creating RAID1 now. So far I haven't noticed an increase in this value.

I've found the issue affects IronWolf drives, not so much Exos - which is weird because as per Terramaster's own compatibility list, IronWolf drives are recommended, but Exos are merely applicable, but not recommended.DCCentR wrote: ↑15 May 2024, 02:52 About Command_Timeout values in my case on TOS6.

If brand new, fault-free (as per Seagate's own tools) IronWolf NAS drives cannot pass TOS 6's "quality checks", maybe Terramaster should just remove IronWolf drives from their compatibility list.

Is there any news about the beta program here? I remember that there were a lot of updates to version 5 of the Beta Program.

Всем добрый день!
Скажите, пожалуйста, на официальном сайте не совсем понял - уже можно скачивать и устанавливать полную версию TOS-6 или еще пока Бета-версия TOS-6?

Just wondering and curious: if you have your disks set up like JBODs, why do you have a NAS? Do use it for Plex and stuff, or for actual file storage? I mean, if one of your discs go down, that would be catastrophic.

Critical data is duplicated on all drives, there is not much of it.bretwashere wrote: ↑25 May 2024, 16:55 Just wondering and curious: if you have your disks set up like JBODs, why do you have a NAS? And yes, i use it not as NAS, but as a server with little size. dns server, proxy server (shadowsocks), use 3 virtual machines with Windows, Ubuntu, and in addition, as a media server.bretwashere wrote: ↑25 May 2024, 16:55 Just wondering and curious: if you have your disks set up like JBODs, why do you have a NAS?
