No matter RAID 1 or RAID 5, the insertion of a faulty hard disk even if it fails to synchronize, it should not cause the entire array to fail. We haven't received any similar reports, and nothing like that has ever happened in our laboratory. However, if another hard disk malfunctions at this time, the situation would be different. Your idea is right, we plan to add logs or message notifications for array synchronization errors in the future.
