TOS 5,TOS 6
App Version:
CloudSync version 3.0 and above
Applicable Models:
All TNAS models (excluding F2-210, F4-210)
Operating Steps:
1. Enable the CloudSync app and select "Connect."
2. Log in to your cloud drive account and agree to CloudSync accessing your cloud drive. Once connected, you can begin creating sync tasks.
3. Select "Tasks" and click the "Create" icon to create a sync task.
4. In the pop-up "Create Task" window, you can select the connected cloud drive or add a new cloud drive for task creation.
5. Configure the task name, local directory, cloud drive directory, and sync mode.
- Bidirectional Synchronization Mode: Real-time bidirectional synchronization between the local directory and the cloud drive directory ensures that the files in both directories remain consistent. Any modification (deletion, renaming, modification, addition) of files and folders at either end is thus synchronized to the other end.
- Remote file download only mode: Download files and folders from the cloud drive directory to the local directory. Files and folders in the local directory will not be uploaded to the cloud drive. Newly added files in the cloud drive will be synchronized to the local directory, and modifications or renames to cloud drive files will overwrite local files.
- Local file upload only mode: Upload files and folders from the local directory to the cloud drive. Files and folders in the cloud drive directory will not be downloaded to the local directory. Newly added local files will also be synchronized to the cloud drive, and modifications or renames to local files will overwrite cloud drive files.
7. Confirm the settings and click the confirmation button to complete the creation of the sync task.
Note:
- If you need to encrypt the data you upload, please check "Encrypt the data before sending it to the cloud" when configuring the sync task. This will encrypt the uploaded data, and it can be decrypted with the same password during download. This process is irreversible, so please be sure to keep your encryption key safe.
- If you intend to back up the transmitted data, please check "Do not delete files in the destination folder when files are deleted from the source folder”. Even if files are deleted from the source folder, the backup data in the destination folder will be retained.
