All drives have become "system disk"

Post by DCCentR »

I've installed TOS 5 on a new 980 Pro (the only one installed in the NAS at that time), then upgraded to TOS 6.
Then I gradually added another old SSD and a couple of HDDs, formatted them and started them as separate volumes in Single Disk.
Now I see that the system somehow gradually "spread" to all the drives - they all became "system disk":

Is there any way to keep the system only on selected drive without spreading it to others? I would hate to have the system running/booting up from unreliable drives and disturbing them with it's activity.

We do have some temporary solutions that can solve the problem. But we are not sure if this temporary measure may have an impact on future use.
We advise you wait for future version updates.
If you wish to try, you can contact our technical support email or the customer service window on our official website. We should not make them public on the forum now.

All disks will be system disks on TOS 5. You will be able to dedicate the specific system disks during the installation with TOS 6 new feature, Only during installation, for a ready system, we do not have a solution right now to remove some disks from the system disks.
