I'm also having trouble with SMB; it's not working for me. I can't access anything on the NAS from Windows. When I try to enable SMB in File Services, the apply button doesn't highlight to save the settings. This OS has been nothing but problematic.

Model F4-424-Pro, running TOS v5.1.123, was functioning properly. The issues began to occur after the unit was powered down from the operating system and then restarted.

It appears to be a system anomaly, and it cannot be ruled out that it is caused by storage or hard disk issues.

Same issue here.
SMB service is down and when trying to enable it the Apply button does not show up blue.
Service seems to be running as when accessing through the file explorer it prompts for password but it does not work.

Judging from the model you are using and the version of TOS, you may have encountered a system abnormality or insufficient capacity of the system partition.
If you used to use TOS4, we suggest you reinstall and keep using TOS 5.0.176, or refer to this to reset your storage and reinstall a higher version of TOS5.
