Unziping, Copying and Transfering to Another NAS

They are RAR files. When I click "Unzip to" It says "Operation Successful" but nothing happens.

What do you mean it will be fixed in the future? If this feature (which is very basic) does not work, the NAS cannot be used for movies. Also what do you mean decompress?

We have confirmed that both unzip and unrar are supported.
It seems that your compressed files are divided into compressed files.
TOS File Manager currently only supports individual compressed packages and does not support fragmented compressed packages.
We will discuss the implementation of processing multiple segmented compressed packets in the future.
You can now temporarily try logging in to SSH/Telnet and processing your segmented compressed packets through the instructions of the RAR tool.

TOS6 did not make any functional changes to decompression based on TOS5. Is it possible that you have used a single compressed file on TOS5?
If you are unable to even decompress a single compressed file now, you may have encountered some abnormal situations.
What was the TOS5 version you used before updating to TOS6? Does it meet the update conditions for TOS6? Updating TOS6 to an unsatisfactory TOS5 version may result in exceptions.
It is not ruled out that there may be an issue with the storage or file system. You can try checking for errors:viewtopic.php?t=2575
If you have tried all the above and the problem still persists, you can consider reinstalling TOS.1.123 and then updating to TOS6 beta.

As of the current TOS 6.0.229 version, we have never added a decompression function for compressed packages in the form of multiple packages yet. We are curious about how you did it.

Could this be a function of the Transmission application that the OP appears to be using judging from the screen-shots? Likewise could it possibly be something to do with copyright material being transmitted? Just a thought. [I don't use torrents, so I have no idea ]

Well, with all due respect, we have sent an email that we wanted this feature on 20/08/2023 (Which again, it is available on all the other NAS that we are using like, Synology and QNAP) and a member of your team sent us an email that from version 5.1.69 (which he sent us a link to download it because it was not available on your webpage) this would be possible. And it was. And it still is. We are using 4 x F5-221 that have that function and 1 x T12-423 that still has that function. We did not upgrade to TOS 6 because that function is NOT available.

We have been trying to promote TM in Cyprus for quite some time but this is the first time in our 25 years of doing business that we are having such a hard time to converse with a manufacturer or support and we need to do this on a public forum. These discussions should be made via email, and Distributors (like us!) should be able to contact support / sales rep easier and with faster response times.

@Gremlin - No it has absolutely nothing to do with transmission and we really do not understand what is so difficult and worthy of amazement! Isn't unzipping multiple files something that is achievable for decades?

Here is a screenshot if you do not believe me still, and just in case you are still curious - This is the email we got from support informing me that the Unzipping / Unraring of multiple files is now possible. This was ok up to 5.123. In TOS 6, it simply vanished.
