Blackout problem

Post by delcerro »

Due to a blackout in my sector, the NAS did not raise the network again.
When I enter the IP of the NAS in the browser it sends me directly to the initialization page.
I have 2 HDDs in RAID 10.
I don't want to lose the data in the HDDs.
How can I initialize the NAS without losing data?
Or is there any procedure to backup the data and restart the NAS?

If the NAS did not shutdown "gracefully" then it is possible the data is already compromised. You may need to reconfirm your setup. NAs model, TOS version, etc. Raid 10 on 2 drives is unlikely.
F5-221 5.1.123, 8GB System Partition on 3 x 4TB Traid; 3TB EXT4
F2-221 TOS6 (Beta), 8GB System Partition on 2 x 6TB in Traid. (Latest Update 11/04/24)

You need to rely on another Linux system or use a data recovery software such as UFS Explorer. If you don't know how to use it, it is recommended that you find a professional data recovery personnel to operate.
Are you talking about the initialization page that checks the hard drive or the page that sets the account and password?
Maybe you can try replugging the hard drive and booting it up.
