This update includes the following bug fixes for the previous version:
1. Fixed a security vulnerability.

Important Notes
1. This update is only for TOS 4.2.30 or later versions. If your TOS version is earlier than TOS 4.2.30, please refer to here.
2. Under normal circumstances, the system update will not affect the data in your hard drives, but for your data safety, it is strongly recommended that you back up your data before the update!

How to update your TOS?

Online update:
1. Go to TOS > Control Panel > General settings > Software update;
2. Check the option "Online update", click "Apply";
3. Follow the prompt to finish the update;

Manual update:
If the check for updates fails, please download the .bz2 package for manual update.
1. Download the update package:
Update package for x86 models(md5=bd9c438590ebf00b5a3f8b2a35b4bba1)
Update package for ARM models(md5=a4eea3302a7465b4e8edb65f59286492)
2. Go to TOS> Control Panel> General Settings> Update & Restore, and click “Manual Update”;
3. Click "Browse" to select the update package;
4. Click "Apply";

Updated and working. Although I prefer that an effort be made and the f2 210 be truly upgraded to tos 5.

When are going to get TOS 5 (or even 6) for F4-210. It is sad that a unit that is only a couple of years old is not better supported!!

The kernel version of the F2-210/F4-210 device cannot continue to be updated, so it is not possible to use TOS5/6.

this seems to the first time anyone at TM has made a decision on this, previously it has just been we will look into it, so i guess theres going to be a lot of unhappy people who have bought these devices new believing they have the most recent version of TOS when infact it is a lie given that is what stated on the website?

but atleast we know officially they are discontinued models that are obsolete but yet you can buy them on the website as brand new
