Help! - I'm running TOS5.1 on an F4-423 set up as follows:
Volume 1- 2 SSDs on RAID0
Volume 2 - 8TB IronWolf HDD
Volume 2 has 5TB of data mapped to the Public folder.
I did a reboot of the NAS and when I checked Public it was empty and mapped to Volume 1. I went into Shared Folders - Advanced Settings - Restore shared folders and re-set it back to Volume 2, but after rebooting, it keeps on showing Volume 1.
I went ahead and created a new shared folder specifically for Volume 2, but the folder is empty.
I can see Volume 2 still has the data because it has the expected size and capacity values.
What is the best way I can restore access to the files and folders inside Volume 2?
Lost access to folders on Volume2!
Re: Lost access to folders on Volume2!
May I ask what RAID type and hard disks model are the storage pools for your two volumes?
You can go to Control Panel>Shared Folder>Advanced Settings and select Restore to your volume 1 to make its "public" visible.
