Hey there! There's good news and potentially some caveats regarding using Power Disable HDD with your TD2 Plus and the Western Digital Ultrastar HC560.

The good news: Many users report success using Power Disable HDD with various WD drives, including some Ultrastar models. So, it's likely compatible with your HC560 as well.

The potential caveats:

Specific model compatibility: While WD drives are generally mentioned as compatible, it's always best to double-check with either Orico (TD2 Plus maker) or WD for official confirmation regarding your specific HC560 model (WUH722020ALE604).

Firmware updates: Ensure both your TD2 Plus and the WD drive have the latest firmware updates installed. This can sometimes resolve compatibility issues.

Individual drive variations: While a specific model might be generally compatible, there can be slight variations between individual drives that could affect functionality. If you encounter issues, trying another identical drive from the same batch might help.

Overall, using Power Disable HDD with your setup seems promising, but it's worth checking for official confirmation and considering the potential caveats for a smooth experience.

Look for a compatibility list of hard drives and their power management features in the TD2 Plus manual or user guide. TerraMaster, the manufacturer of TD2 Plus, would have the most accurate information. Provide details about your specific TD2 Plus model and the Western Digital Ultrastar HC560 drive (including model number and firmware version) for the best answer. While Power Disable HDDs can save power, they might require specific support from the storage device (like TD2 Plus) to function correctly. Double-checking compatibility is crucial.
