Default Gateway of the two ports ethernet

Hello,
On the two port port ethernet in static ip, the value of the default gateway seems forced.

example :
Lan 1, ip 192.168.0.30, default gateway 192.168.0.1
Lan 2, ip 192.168.0.31, default gateway 192.168.0.1

For the Lan 2, if i put default gateway 192.168.0.30 (ip adress of Lan1), the default gateway after save is forced at 192.168.0.1

Why ? on many network card you can set any value you like.

Why would you want to do this? You have put both Lan ports on the same network segment (192.168.0.*). TNAS does have the ability to 'auto-sense' where the greater 'www' actually is located. (It will show your external wan ip somewhere). It can be presumed that your network gateway IS 192.168.0.1 - which is a common default router lan address. In any case (as far as I am aware) TNAS does not have any routing functions built in.
