How to verify Qbittorent is using VPN Connection

I have created a VPN Connection that is showing as connected (Green Tick). If I download a file using Qbittorent I noticed that the Send/Receive values do not change on the VPN Connection screen which makes me believe that Qbittorent is not using the VPN Connection. I cannot find any way to verify this assumption. Is there a way to verify this on a TNAS F4-423 TOS 5.1.95-00372?

Perhaps your router management page can help you if it supports viewing the transmission status with different WAN IPs.
Alternatively, you can confirm your VPN server WAN IP and download source WAN IP, then log in to SSH and enter the following command to monitor the status of both connections separately:

tcpdump -i eth0 src host [LAN IP] and dst net [VPN server WAN IP]
tcpdump -i eth0 src host [LAN IP] and dst net [download source WAN IP]
