Difference between @sysSnapShoot and @snapshot

TerraMaster Snapshot is a disaster recovery tool developed based on the BTRFS file system. Take snapshots of shared folders or iSCSI LUNs and quickly restore data after a disaster by taking advantage of file system features. In TOS 5, Snapshot has been redesigned to add more features and improve the user experience.

Difference between @sysSnapShoot and @snapshot

Post by lsoto »

Hello, I am sorry if this was discussed earlier, but searching for sysSnapShoot only shows a thread regarding "other" disk space.
I would really like to know the differences between
- @sysSnapShoot created by: App Backup -> File System Snapshot
- @snaoshoot created by: Snapshot app itself
A part that the Snapshot app is selective in which share do you want or not to take snapshots.

Thanks!

Yes, that's right. A file system is a logical way to organize and manage volumes. File systems and volumes are related and have different names from different perspectives.
