I have no idea what is happening when I try to access SMB storage from any windows PC (File Explorer).
It gives me an error.
multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one username, are not allowed.
Any Idea how I get around this as I always use the same user account never mind what computer I am using and some days I may use 2.
never had this issue before

What is your TNAS model and TOS version uesd?
Do you see any relevant error messaged and what do they prompt?
This may help you troubleshoot the problem:
Windows users cannot use SMB file service to access?
