Is there no software that can safely resize a system partition on a raid drive?

Sorry, we don't have this software, so we can only format the hard drive and install a new system.

Since I don't have 5TB of free space on my computer. I'm going to try to use GParted to copy the data from the old drive to the new drive.
Do you think this will work?
