Can't connect suddenly ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE

Post by OnePunchBen »

Hello,

I haven't used my F2-422 for a few weeks. Suddenly, my mac Studio can't connect to it anymore.

I installed the latest version of TNAS. It finds the nas correctly but when I click Login, it opens a chrome page with the IP address and gives me the following error ERR_ADDRESS_UNREACHABLE.

What I tried:
Deleting the password saved in chrome
Clicking Change IP in TNAS, but I get an error again

Note : the F2-422 is directly plugged in to my mac Studio with Ethernet. All lights are green on the F2-422.

Can someone help me please ?

Does the TNAS have a fixed IP? Is the network segment (eg 192.168.123.nnn, the first 3 groups) still the same as your router/PC.

You can try the following:
1. Restart your TNAS.
2. Clear your browser cache.
3. Use your TNAS IP: port in the browser to access directly.

Thanks for the replies.

Hey @Gremlin, yes the TNAS IP is fixed. Groups one and two are the same, third group is different.

Hey @Tmeric, just did and it can't connect. Also, I can't change the IP address in TNAS.

Any other idea?

You could try temporarily changing your IP segment in the router (DHCP server pool) to match the TNAS. At least while you access and fix the TNAS.
