Have some issues with raid as it seems its stuck on Configuring… 0%
Model F4-210
TOS version 4.2.31-2203011629
Following has been done:
Disk 1: SSD - for a small database. Has not been altered in any way. Single disk config
Disk 2: HDD 12TB with ~7,2TB used from 11TB available. Single disk config
Disk 3: Empty
Disk 4: Empty
In disk3+4 a 10TB HDD has been added and a raid 1 was created from 0. It took about a day to complete. Progress has been updated all the time. Was a somewhat heavy load for the NAS CPU (70-90% usage).
Rsync from the TOS Desktop has been used to copy all data from HDD 2 to the new raid. Took about 2 days (why was it this slow? this is like 40MB/sec transfer rate). Was a somewhat heavy load for the CPU as well as before.
Once all data has been copied a new share was added to the new raid. Works perfectly. All files available.
Disk 2 (12TB HDD) has been removed from the NAS physically.
A new 10TB disk has been added into Disk Slot 2
The raid 1 setup in slot 3+4 has been expanded to a raid 5 with the new disk.
As the old storage pool for the 12TB HDD is useless now it has been deleted after the volume has been removed.
This was done about 8 hrs ago but it looks like the progress bar is not updating properly and NAS CPU usage is worst case 5-10%
CPU usage 7.52%
CPU temperature 42 ℃
Disk temperature 41 ℃
If there would be a load on the CPU I would assume its doing something. What now?
