TD2 drives not mounting for non-admin user

Post by dans »

I have been using the Terra-Master TD2 for over 3 months now, connected
to my Beelink SER6 pro PC running Windows 11. I have a pair of 14GB
drives installed in the TD2 in a RAID1 configuration. I have 2 users on
the PC. User1 is the normal user that is not an administrative user.
User2 is an administrative user.

If I log in with User1, the drives do not mount.

If I log in with User2, the drives mount and are assigned a logical
drive letter in Windows.

If I log out of User2, the logical drive goes away.

How can I get the logical drive to show in User1, without having to
first log in to User2, then switch to User1 (leaving User2 logged in)?

Sorry, we don't know the reason. TD2 is a direct-attached storage device and has no system functions. You need to rule out the functional problems of windows 11, which has nothing to do with TD2 hardware devices.
