Plex won't start after moving metadata from Windows

Post by blueelephant »

Hi,

just bought a Terramaster F2-221 and having trying to set it up for the last 10 hours. Everything is fine, except I can't move my library from my Windows PC (yes, I used to run a Plex server on my Windows PC) to NAS. I've seen a few videos on the net and followed what they instructed, yet no luck. I have these folders and files https://imgur.com/a/UA7zKzJ on the Plex Media Server folder in my C drive. I only moved 4 of them (Media, Metadata, Plug-in support, Plug-ins) to the User/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server folder on the TOS web client (I'll move the actual movies later when I'm finished setting up the Plex library and scan library so everything falls in place). I deleted the existing Plug-in Support and Plug-ins folder existing on the TOS Plex folder before moving the folders (Media and Metadata didn't exist there anyways).

Now Plex won't start, it says "Operation successful yet" when I click start yet it doesn't actually start - https://imgur.com/a/bGR1wnj

I have SSH (Putty) available. I'm on TNAS PC 5.0.35.

Any help is appreciated.
