Apologies if this is a stupid question, new to NAS devices.
My F2-221 arrived today, however the 4GTB HDD is delayed for a couple of weeks.
Can I use F2-221 just with an external hard drive and no HDD yet?
I have connected a external disk drive via USB but I get the following message when I try to login: No hard drive detected!
Please install hard drive(s) and try again!

Without a drive be installed, your tnas couldn’t work, because system need to be installed in a hard drive.
