TNAS F5-221 with TOS version 4.2.32.2203011626
I'm accessing video (MKV) files from a Philips Android TV using various apps (I haven't found one that's entirely satisfactory yet). If I press the "back" button while watching in Kodi (by mistake, instead of STOP), it will go "up" to an overlay screen, and shortly afterwards, the video will stop and a message will appear, telling me that the video can't be found. When I go and log in to TOS, invariably I find that the Multimedia Server is DISABLED.
I mean... I'm baffled as to how I can cause Kodi (a mere client) to stop my media server. How can this be possible?
I've seen the Multimedia Server go disabled under other circumstances as well, but it's rare and I haven't discerned any pattern yet.
App on my TV can make Multimedia Server stop. HOW?

Re: App on my TV can make Multimedia Server stop. HOW?
Quick update: I no longer have this issue because I've switched to SMB and so I don't really need the DLNA server. However, I still think it should be looked into.
