F4-210 land attack on itself
According to my router logs, every hour or so my TNAS will attempt a land attack on itself, as in the source and destination IP addresses are both the same. Any way to fix this?
Re: F4-210 land attack on itself
just block it in your firewall, set the login attemptions in TOS to,maby 3 and let it then be blocked for 1 hour. You can block there attemps after 5 aftemps to several days also...
Or disconnect an reconnect your router so it will get another IP and you should be relaxed for some days...

It's already being blocked, but I would like for it to not happen in the first place.Hardfecx wrote: ↑18 Dec 2021, 23:28 just block it in your firewall, set the login attemptions in TOS to,maby 3 and let it then be blocked for 1 hour. Not really understand your report, Would you provide a screenshot of your router log so that we can better understand your issue?

you may be in an Ip range wich is under attack, that's why you should try to change your Ip or try a VPN

Thank you for your information.
But we can't figure out why such thing happened. There are two possibilities:
1. Your tnas is infected with malware, which attacks your network from your tnas.
2. Your router reported wrong information.

a land attack is a DDos attack, so you are surely infectect. Is the Ip "10.0.3.136" the ip of your Nas?
