We had a power outage and when I the NAS booted back up it has not connected to the network.
Can't ping the NAS and TNAS does not find it on the network. I have plugged the NAS directly into my switch and changed LAN cables but that didn't change anything. NAS makes a beeping sound after boot and there is a yellow light on the NAS NIC, all lights are green on the front and I can hear the discs spin up.
Any help appreciated!

Re: F4-210 dropped off network
Hi! Please unplug all hard drives and boot again to see if TNAS PC can search for the device IP.

Thanks, I tried that and it doesn't work. There is no activity on the switch port either. It shows a solid light and but no activity.
Re: F4-210 dropped off network
Hi! After pressing the power button and waiting for a period of time, is there only the power light and the network light on?

Re: F4-210 dropped off network
try the software "Andry IP" to search your Ip adress range, eventually your Nas changed the IP. Does it have a fixe Ip (wich is reserved in your Router) or do you have DHCP?
Re: F4-210 dropped off network
Thanks for the suggestions.
The NAS has a static IP set in my router. I ran Angry IP and the MAC address of the NAS does not appear on the network at all.

Re: F4-210 dropped off network
I had a chat session with support and they were unable to find the issue.
I connected the NAS directly to my laptop with a LAN cable and was able to detect the NAS. I had to reinstall TOS as it acted like there was no operating system.
But now I can't get it back on the network, when I try to change the IP I get this error. I've tried numerous IP addresses that I know are available.
This IP address already exists. Please enter a valid new address

Re: F4-210 dropped off network
Thank you for your information! So now it is clear that your device hardware is working fine. it seems your device is not able to obtain a correct ip address. what you need to do now is, assign a correct ip address to the device and install TOS in it. Please make sure you have a router on your local network with DHCP server enabled, because I do not think your DHCP is working properly now.

Re: F4-210 dropped off network
Hi,
The only way I could detect the NAS was with a direct connected LAN cable to my laptop. It then forced me to install TOC as if the NAS was new with no data on it.
Once on the NAS (via direct connection) I can't change IP addresses it always says "This IP address already exists. Please enter a valid new address" even though it is not.
If I put the NAS on my network it is unable to be detected and does not appear on the router.
DHCP is working as I can see other devices in my house obtaining addresses.
