The appdata folder cannot be opened using Samba service, and always prompt to enter a user name and password?
Analysis: The user does not have permission to access
Judgment:
1. No read and write permissions are given to the appdata directory
2. The default directory for Time Machine is appdata, which causes Samba to have no permission to access the appdata directory
3. The sector where the appdate directory is located is damaged, bad block
Solution:
1. Go to "Control Panel->Privileges->Shared Folder" to give appdata user read and write permissions
2. Go to "Backup-Time Machine", click "Settings", cancel the default enabled appdata directory or change to another directory
3. The directory cannot be opened due to damaged sectors or bad blocks. The troubleshooting method: you cannot open or copy the data to the appdata directory in any way. If so, please contact the our tech team for assistance.
