I have a F4-423 on TOS 5.1.34 and only have SSH, SFTP, and SMB (Samba) enabled; no AFP. The NAS is in an environment only running Apple Macintosh devices on ether MacOS Monterey or Ventura (recent OS releases). Sending files over SFTP and even SSH , the system appears to be peppy and can keep up with large file transfer. I have never been able to get SMB to work well in the environment, and I'm not sure if it is because only Macintosh systems are using it and no PCs. I did not want to enable AFP as that is deprecated. I can also say that Time Machine over SMB can take hours for just under a gig of changes. I can confirm that all the networking is good. I'm using ethernet 1gbps from the Mac computers to a switch and the NAS is connected using two bonded 1gbps ethernet ports. I have mostly tried the default SMB setting, but if someone has already done the troubleshooting and know settings that work, please let me know. Apart from this one hurdle, I think the hardware will grow on me. On a side note, I have also monitored the SMB and NDB logs in the /var/log/samba location, but there is not a ton of errors showing there.
In the log SMB file I do see quite a few of the below errors (even with quotas disabled in my environment:

Nothing in the NDB (just register notices) log file. Ideas or thoughts?
