Crucial P5+ 2TB (CT2000P5SSD8) is working on T9-450, but need the heatsink . TOS buzzed an overheated device at 70°C, which is far too low for this SSD and can't be changed. I decided to disable this notification

Frankly a P5+ is wasted on TM devices. The spec for T8 is 8 nvme @ PCIE Gen 3 x 1 LANE

You won't see anywhere near the speeds quoted for the drives.

Maybe it is overkill, but as the topic mentioned compatible. i had these P5 already there and they was'nt this expensive as compared to another brand like samsung
