System Freeze After TOS 5.0.176 Update
Hello. I wonder if anyone can help me. I have tried three times to upgrade my F2-220 to TOS 5.0.176 from 4.2.41 but each time the system freezes and the IP undetectable following the TNAS restart at the end of the procedure. After a hard reset (unplugging and removing the drives) I can re-initialise to the previous TOS version 4.2.41. Any ideas? My TNAS PC version is 5.0.35.

You cannot update directly from TOS 4.2.x to TOS 5.0. Please refer to the article to install TOS 5.0.

That article says that TOS needs to be 4.2.32 or greater. Mine is 4.2.41. I followed the procedure in that article. It fails at step 5. I do not get the loading screen and TNAS PC cannot detect the drive. The IP cannot be detected by the browser either - just get the "cannot find website" screen.

Please confirm your device model. The 220 series is based on the x86 architecture, and the 210 series is based on the arm architecture.
The latest TOS 4.2.x version for arm is 4.2.41, while for x86 it is 4.2.40. If your device is 210 series, TOS 5.0 is not supported.

Ah, okay, thanks. It is a 210 - I thought it was a 220 (silly me). Is there a release planned for the ARM versions?
