UPdate to TOS 5.1.24 User issue
I updated my TNAS to TOS 5.1.24 and now when trying to log in it states user not exists. If I type the wrong password it tells me wrong password. How do I fix this? I do not have SSH turned on.

I know the user exists, as I can still mount the NAS on my computer with the username and login.

It seems that the system database has not been loaded successfully. You can try to restart the device.

Thank you. That didn't work. I was able to follow some suggestions from the chat support and was able to reinstall the system and get back in.

How can you reinstall it without having access to the system???

Can't access TOS after upgrade as username and password are deemed incorrect (haven't changed them) and now there is an additional field on the log-in screen with barely indistinguishable numbers. Once I enter the numbers (double checked and correct) as message pops up to say that the verification code incorrect. It is infuriating that you buy a product and the manufacturers seem to make every effort to make it inaccessible for the user. I recently saw a YouTube video on how to install TruNAS onto a Terramaster unit, this may be the only option because the TOS software is totally useless!

What is your previous TOS version? did you update from TOS 4? How did you deploy your update?
