F2-220 red light and ethernet error

Post by ctlsm »

Good morning, I have a big problem with my Terramaster F2-220 that I have for 8 years.
After a power failure, the NAS started with the green Ethernet light off and the HD red lights on.
I tried to remove the disks but it still doesn’t work, I can’t access the NAS via ethernet in any way. What can I do? Is there any chance of a hard physical reset?

Thank you

Hi, please shut down the F2-220, then start it as an empty F2-220 (with no disk), can you hear a "beep" and search the F2-220 and open the initial web page?

I tried to format the usb disk with fat but it doesn't work. exactly the same error.
I tried with another usb disk and the result is the same.

Could be because I am installing "Installing for arm64-efi platform." ???

Are there other attempt that I can do ?

Please try to take out the battery and connect the two poles of the battery holder with a wire to clear the BIOS information. If it still fails, the device should be damaged.
