Hi,
I have a F4-220 with four disks and i have a problem.
Since this morning, my NAS does not start.
There is the power light in green and the 4 disks leds in red. No BIP on startup.
I can't connect to the NAS in my net local.
Do you have a solution without losing my data?
Thanks

Re: F4-220 - Start problem
Shut it down again.
Pull all the drives out and start it up.
You should be able to connect to its initialization page.
Get to the part of the wizard that checks the drives.
Slide in a drive & let the test run, then continue adding a drive until they are all tested.
If it all tests give, shut down & try restarting it again.

Thank you for the answer.
I removed the disks but it boots the same way.
The 4 disks LEDs are red, the LAN LED is off and the power is green.
No beep on startup.
I can't connect to the web interface even with the disks removed.

Re: F4-220 - Start problem
Maybe the internal USB boot drive has failed.
Try making a new one: viewtopic.php?f=76&t=1455
Outside of that, you may have a general hardware failure.
If you are still under warranty, contact support @ https://www.terra-master.com/global/contact-us/

Re: F4-220 - Start problem
I tried this procedure. It didn't work.
I will try to connect the NAS to a screen with VGA adapter to check for errors and try to install another system.
Thanks for your help
I will come back to you as soon as possible.

If my NAS is down, can I recover my data?

Re: F4-220 - Start problem
HEllo,
So i have F4-220 but with 5 SATA connectors
And i have same issue.
new usb-drive does not help.
i've made VGA cable like those you can by in internet ( VGA 15pin to 12pin) but monitor show "no input". i suspect some internal failure.
but i can't find what is wrong.
I had Raid6, and if i need to replace hardware it will cost me 400€
ps: do you think i can rebuild raid6 on linux pc, without loosing data ?

RAID 6 cannot be used directly on a Linux PC, you need to back up data first.
