I currently am using a Terra-Master F4-220 NAS as my Plex server. It has functioned without any problems for at least one year. I have 4 5TB drives in it in a Raid 5 configuration using EXT4 format. It looks like I will need to expand my storage pool soon and I was thinking of getting a F5-221 plus an additional hard drive to do that.
I have three questions:
#1. Can I simply transfer my current 4 5TB hard drives from the F4-220 to the F5-221, power up the F5-221 and have my Plex server up and running ?? I ask this because the drives are currently using EXT4 and I understand that the F5-221 uses BTRFS format.
#2. Does the F5-221 use the exact same memory expansion module that the F4-220 does ?? I ask because my current F4-220 has been expanded to 4GB memory and I would like to use that expansion memory stick in the F5-221.
#3. Once I have the F5-221 up and running with 4 drives, in order to expand the storage pool can I simply add one more drive and tell TOS to expand the pool ??
Thank you for any help you can offer . . . .

Answer: Yes, you can do that, but it will keep ext4 file system with no change.

Answer: Yes, you can transfer your previous RAM to the new device. as they are using the same RAM.

Answer: Yes, you can add one more drive to expand your storage pool capacity.
