2. Start putty, enter the IP address of TNAS and the port of ssh. The default ssh port is 9222.

I'm new to TerraMaster NAS ( F2-221 TOS 5.1.34) but not to NAS ( ReadyNAS NV+)
SSH access fails immediately with protocol negotiation error?
I've reloaded Putty in case there was some earlier version . I have checked SSH Protocol is V2 only

I cant seem to paste a screen capture of the error so have typed it in
PuTTY Fatal Error
Couldn't agree a host key algorithm ( available: rsa-sha2-512,rsa-sha-256,ecdsa-nistp256,ssh-ed25519)

Putty works fine on to the ReadyNAS (that I'm migrating from) and raspberry Pi's.

I'm wanting to cope data from the ReadyNAS shares to folders on the TerraMaster using sftp from a $ prompt.

Any pointers appreciated.

I suggest you provide more details.
What is the operating system and connection method you are using?
Is SSH service enabled?
Network connection status?

Buenas Noches:

Terminal contesta.ssh: connect to host mi_ip_local port 9222: Conection refused
